Broward County has launched a home purchase assistance program for residents seeking homeownership, offering up to $100K in financing support for qualified purchases.
The initiative, led by a county commissioner, aims to help residents cover upfront buying costs, including down payments, while pursuing homeownership in District 7.
To qualify, buyers must first purchase in District 7, earn at or below 120% AMI, complete homebuyer education, and secure pre-approval before applying.
Eligible purchases also face a maximum sale price of $679.3K, giving qualified Broward County buyers a clear price ceiling when searching homes.
Applications stay open until all funds are reserved, and Broward County residents can get details through the county housing website or housing phone line.
